Services & Remembrances
Because your pet is a part of the family.
As you have lovingly and devotedly cared for your pet, there comes a time when we must say goodbye. When this time comes, we at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home are honored to provide you with options for the care of your faithful companion. Cats, dogs, and other pets are loyal companions. When you lose a pet, you lose an important member of your family. Saying a proper goodbye is essential to the healing process. We will do everything we can to help you honor and remember your beloved pet and find closure. It is one small way for us to say, "thank you", to our friends and neighbors.
Our pet cremations include the following:

Frequently Asked Questions
When your pet is at your veterinarian's office:
When you've made the difficult decision to euthanize your pet at a veterinarian's office or an emergency pet center, your options are not limited to any one service - you can choose your aftercare provider. Let the staff at the clinic know you want to use our services and call us to make arrangements and go over services and fees. We will be there within 24-48 hours to transfer your pet and call you once they are in our care.
When your pet has died at your home:
During our open hours, call for an appointment and bring your pet directly to us.
After our business hours, please call to discuss your needs. We will contact you to arrange for your arrival with your pet. In the meantime, please keep your loved one in a cool location on an absorbent pad. If staff is available, it may be possible to arrange services after hours, for an additional fee. Please note, no pet intakes will be available from 8pm-8am. After 8pm, arrangements will be made for the following morning.
If it is more comfortable for you, we offer pick up from your home to transfer your pet into our care for an additional fee.
The Care We Provide, The Promises We Keep:
Once your pet is in our care, they are carefully labeled and placed in a temperature-controlled space. Our transportation staff and crematory specialists handle your pet with the utmost care, dignity, and respect; we understand that your pet is part of your family and treat them with the same care we would our own family members.
Every single pet is handled one at a time. Every single pet is cremated privately, by themselves, one at a time. We stand by our service, the care we give, the respect and dignity we provide, and the quality of our work.
Each step of the way, your pet's information is checked and attached to everything associated with them. There are checks, double checks, and triple checks to ensure accuracy.
When your pet's cremation is complete, you will be contacted to pick up your loved one. If at any time you have questions about anything at all, you are welcome to call us.
